Talk By Geshe Dorjee Damdul

Ex- students’ desk from Head Office arranged a talk in our school on Wednesday on the evening of April 6, at 7 pm. The talk was focused on value education being given by Geshe Dorjee Damdul – one of the contemporary outstanding Geshe of the 21st century. The gist of the talk included that we Tibetans basically carried intrinsic values from our forefathers and there is deterioration of traditionally valued ethics and ethos and getting vanished in the face of multicultural societies. Young Tibetan kids need to instill these values from the very early age and teach the essentiality of these values in one’s life. Tibetans across the world are likened by people of the world because we have been honest, sincere, hardworking, trustworthy and humble in our nature and it’s all because of our religion. So, students of today are asked to pay attention towards one’s own language and culture. Geshe la also urged our students to go for specialization as His Holiness suggested our youngsters from time and again.
