TIBET OUR COUNTRY PROJECT

A month long TOC project was aimed out familiarizing our children with Tibetan culture tradition and identity. This year, we focused on arousing interest in learning traditional song, music and developing the dancing skills. An intensive dancing practice was given to all the children after regular classes led by the respective class teacher.
The project ended officially by hosting an evening dance event on 1st May 2019. We had a spectacular dance performance from class III to VI. Moreover, we facilitate Tibetan handwriting for Cl I to III student in enhancing their witing skills assisted by the concerned Tibetan teachers.
Special credit goes to Mr Wangchuk la (Tibetan handwriting teacher) Mrs Tashi Dolma la and Mr Dasel la (music teacher) Me Tsering Phuntsokla (stage preparation) and all the class teachers for their unwavering supports.
